About Courtney

Hi, I'm Courtney, and this is my blog.  Welcome to my life!

I am a recent graduate of Fordham University in the Bronx who left the Commencement ceremony on May 21st slightly disappointed that the world didn't actually end.  I drove away from my beloved campus - where I spent every waking moment doing theatre, giving tours, hanging out with friends, doing incredible internships, procrastinating on papers and generally being an extremely invested college student - with two cars full of my stuff, a Bachelor's degree in Communications, no job, no apartment, and no plan for what I was going to do with my life.  I biked to the grocery store because I had no car, grudgingly unpacked my many boxes, marveled at how bad allergies are in the country, and watched a lot of How I Met Your Mother.

Some eighty or so résumés later, I somehow got a full-time job, an apartment, and a roommate off of Craigslist, and I headed back to Manhattan.  And now I'm here - no academic calendar, no back-to-school shopping, no spring break, and no idea what's going to happen next.  Whether you are a family member, a friend (I'm so bad at staying in touch, sorry!), or a complete stranger, thanks for joining me on my journey!

blog by Courtney began on June 9th, 2010 as a personal blog meant to chronicle my last year as a college undergraduate and all of the awesome, memorable, frustrating, nerve-wracking, unforgettable, happening-too-fast things that go along with it.  Now comes everything afterward.
